As a Registered Dietitian, my approach is to assist my clients in achieving optimal nutrition and health as well as to prevent nutrition-related diseases. I believe in a non-dieting approach to healthy eating and weight loss. Having a great relationship with food and eating healthy is the key to living your best life and feeling fantastic!
Eating healthy goes far deeper than just “eating healthy.” A majority of people know what to eat that is healthy for them and they know what they should do to live a healthy life, but most people don’t necessarily do what they know to be right. What I am seeing is that there are behavioral issues that people have that revolve around food. These issues go deeper than just not “eating healthy.” Overcoming those behavioral issues with food is the key to moving in the right direction of eating healthier. That is why I like to start where you are and focus on behavioral and lifestyle changes as well as educational approaches to support sustainable changes for healthy eating.
I offer evidenced–based nutrition counseling, coaching, and educational services that are personalized and individualized to address all of your needs and I suggest strategies to overcome barriers that will help you achieve your nutrition and wellness goals.
